On Wednesday, we leave for Yokosuka Japan. Here in Iwakuni, they don't have the facilities to delivery a baby on base. We tried going out in town but Ashley was uncomfortable with how they did things. I tried to be strong for her, but it was kinda shady to say the least. The doctors out in town know very little english and I heard a rumor they don't normaly wear gloves unless you ask them. To me, that is just plain weird.
Below is a picture of where we are (Iwakuni) and where we are going (Yokosuka). For an idea how far it is from where we are now, I also included Hiroshima, which is about 43KM (25Miles) from Iwakuni. Yokosuka is a long damn way away. It takes about 6 hours on a train that goes 200mph. So we have a long ride ahead of us of Wednesday.

Recently, my boss came back from a Golf trip to Thailand. He went with 3 other buddy's and said the courses are amazing. The course gives you a caddy and apparently they know what they are talking about. They are little old ladies that have done this their whole life. Anyway, I am thinking about taking a trip their this spring with my boss. Ashley and a friend are talking about going to Guam to go shopping and I told her I would pay for her trip if she let me go on this golf trip. I guess we will have to wait and see about that before we make any plans. I know the baby will change everything.
Other than that, everything remains the same. Work is starting to pick up. I have been very busy doing alot of different things. Most of my problems are personnel. I have alot of people leaving in the next few months so that just means I have to be creative. I know some people would like me to write more about what I do. But for Operational Security, I will be very general when I talk about work.
My Flag football team is undefeated. We have played 5 games so far and are the only team on the base (of 12-15 teams or so) that hasn't lost a game. These guys get real competitive. There is alot of shit talking. It keeps it fun. Well, that's all for now. I will try and post more as we get closer to game time (the baby). Hope everyone is well.
